APPROVAL OF MINUTES: a. Approval August meeting minutes. 3. OTHER BUSINESS/ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FOR ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA 4. OLD BUSINESS: a. Changes to CAC Operations Reminders i. Agenda Item Submission Deadline by early afternoon on the Friday before the Tuesday meeting ii. Participation Expectation: all committee members should participate in the execution of all events and show up on the day of the event. b. Budget approved for 2026/2027: Town of Portola Valley – Cultural Arts Committee Agenda September 8, 2026 Page 2 of 2 i. The CAC has been approved for a budget of $3000 total for the 2026/2027 fiscal year. This is a 30% reduction of the proposed budget. As a result, the CAC committee proposes to cut 30% across all events. ii. Photo: propose to cut the following: $400 for speaker, $200 for website, $300 for food. iii. Eliminate Limerick and move the $70 to speaker series for a total of $700 c. Timeline and Calendar of events. i. Fall – PV Photography Contest ii. Winter - Youth Fair iii. Spring – Limerick Celebration iv. Speaker events: 1. At least one in the spring. Leslie to send Ivy her schedule for the spring. 5. NEW BUSINESS 6. ANNOUNCEMENTS 7.
